Step One

Where do you start? That's easy. First, write your book, manual, report -- whatever it is you've been dreaming of writing. Stop dreaming and start writing.

And what's the first thing you should consider before you begin to write? Your audience. You may think that you have the most amazing and original idea for a book that absolutely everyone will want to read. But your audience is not everyone. Take the time to consider the type of person who would be most likely to see the benefit in your book -- enough to want to buy it. Then write for your audience.

When all the writing is done, get feedback from people whose opinions you value. Tell them to be critical -- you want to produce the best work you can.

Step Two

Editing is the next most important step. A professional editor can help you look good and ensure that your book's message is clear and on target for its intended audience. Even if you feel your command of language and grammar is excellent, we highly recommend that you have a professional editor ensure your work is the best it can be. At eBookPRESS.ca, we can provide editorial assistance for your project: from proofreading to copy editing to structural and stylistic editing. You decide how much editing your project requires -- we simply make suggestions. If you already have your own editor, no problem.

Step Three

The final step toward seeing your eBook published and marketed is to hand it over to us for the final formatting. We'll work with you to produce an attractive, readable, and even printable design with appropriate font choices, page numbering, chapter headings, and production of a table of contents and/or index if desired. From there we produce an uneditable PDF for your customers to download. You can choose to make your eBook printable or non-printing.
